Ficus midotis is a common epiphytic liana fig in the understorey of wet forest throughout Borneo.  This fig is distinguished from Ficus subulata by the sunken midrib of the leaf. Ficus subulata has a raised midrib.This individual was photographed by Linus Gokusing at Sg Imbok, Kuamut District, Tawau, Sabah.
