All photos are by Linus Gokusing of the same individual tree collected from the roadside of the Kota Kinabalu-Tambunan road that crosses the Crocker Range. Altitude approx 800m asl. Notice the enormous variation in leaf shape and size and the fact that there are only a few lateral bracts on the side of the fig. Both this fact and the shape of the young leaves indicates that this may be a hybrid F.cereicarpa x F. francisci.
