Ficus xylophylla growing as a small tree in poor soil kerangas forest at Nabawan near Keningau in central Sabah. Ficus xylophylla is a relatively small strangler which grows right up to canopy level in stunted forest including peat swamp and coastal forest. All photos are by Linus Gokusing.
