Site icon THE FIGS OF BORNEO

Ficus rubrocuspidata, Mulu NP, Sarawak

Ficus rubrocuspidata IMG_5795.JPG
The floodplain forest next to the Melinau River at Mulu was flooded when we visited in December 2013 to look for figs and butterflies. Mulu is extremely rich in both even  though all the large mammals have been hunted out.
Ficus rubrocuspidata is one of the most common figs you will encounter in the floodplain forest at Mulu.
