Ficus treubii growing next to the walkway that leads to the orangutan feeding platform at Sepilok near Sandakan, Sabah. Ficus treubii is locally common in the Sepilok Kabili Forest Reserve. Another “curtain fig” Ficus stolonifera has also been recorded several times.
