This large Ficus stricta was one of 5 large figs growing in the forest surrounding the Sukau Rainforest Lodge when we carried out a fig survey in December 2016. The figs present included 2 Ficus stricta and singleton Ficus dubia, Ficus depressa and Ficus magnoliifolia.

This tree was near the Pitta platform. Tony Lmb shows the size.
Sukau Rainforest Lodge on the Kinabatangan river is  surrounded by some of the richest forested areas for both wildlife and figs in Borneo.
