Ficus pumila figs growing at the Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden, Hong Kong. These fig fruits are at the wasp emergent stage. When fully ripe the fig fruit are dark purple.

According to Corlett (2006) Ficus in urban Hong Kong, South China the only visitors to the ripe figs of F. pumila are fruit bats Cynopterus sphinx although no doubt Masked Palm Civets and macaques also disperse the seeds.
