Female Ficus cereicarpa full of ripe seeds.  Female figs are produced at ground level and the seeds are dispersed by forest rats, deer and pigs.
The  diverse forest  surrounding the Ulu Ulu Resort and the Belalong Field Center at Kuala Belalong in Brunei hosts one of the richest fig floras in the world. Resident researcher Hanyrol H Ahmad Sah  on the right.
