Originally recorded as Ficus melinocarpa this fig was photographed on an ultramafic site on Kinabalu by Anthony Van Der Ent.
Beaman & Anderson (2004) Ficus list for Kinabalu list four records for Ficus melinocarpa for Kinabalu, but these could be an error.
