Ficus chartacea photographed by Elliot Gardner along the trail to the temple on 17 February 2020 at Matang near Kuching, Sarawak. Collection #EG 894.
Identified by the following spot characters;
- Thin papery leaves
- White spots on the leaf. See orange arrow.
- Short, sharply pointed, smooth stipule
- Pale underside to the leaves.
- Small understorey shrub
The photos were taken as part of a project entitled Ethnobotany and ethnotaxonomy of Moraceae in Sarawak supported by the National Parks Board of Singapore.
