Ficus fistulosa growing in degraded alluvial floodplain on the banks of the Sungai Kapuas in West Kalimantan. The surrounding vegetation is dominated by a very tough fern Acrostichum aureum which prefers brackish water swamps on the landward edge of mangroves.
