Ficus subcordata: Red Langur feeding on figs at Tawau Hills on 15.09.2020

Ficus subcordata produces the largest fig of all the Section Conosycea stranglers found in Borneo.

These figs are so large that only hornbills can swallow the fig whole, so Ficus subcordata can be regarded as a specialist hornbill fig.
