Ficus punctata & trichocarpa: Bathyphyll leaves compared

The photos in this post show  the juvenile saplings of two very different root climbing figs growing in the ground up the  buttresses (base) of the Tabin Giant Tree, a 40 m Koompasia excelsa (Fabaceae) at Tabin Wildlife Reserve in Sabah, Malaysian Borneo.
