Ficus supperforata is a rare root climbing fig confined to peat swamp forests in Sarawak and Kalimantan.
According to Berg and Corner (2005)
” this fig resembles Ficus villosa from which it can be distinguished by the smaller number of lateral veins and the foveolate lower surface of the lamina”
