Ficus punctata var callicarpa growing in peatswamp forest at Kota Waringin in Central Kalimantan.

Ficus punctata var callicarpa is the variety of Ficus punctata growing in parts of  southern Kalimantan,  and the Malay Peninsula.

F. punctata var callicarpa  is very common in Singapore where it can be seen growing on roadside trees and in the Singapore Botanic Garden.

Further north in Kalimantan and in Sabah, Brunei and Sarawak  there are several different varieties of Ficus punctata.
