These are the first photos of this rare Borneo endemic fig from the forested slopes of the Meratus Mountains in South Kalimantan, Indonesian Borneo.
Note that Ficus densechini figs are dioicous which means separate male and female plants and figs. The female fig is ellipsoidal, and colored reddish brown whereas male figs are larger and round and colored dull brown.
