Ficus heterophylla (female) , growing as a multi-stemmed liana at Kerangan Panjang, Pengkadan, Kapuas Hulu Regency, West Kalimantan, Indonesia.
F. heterophylla normally grows as a shrub but this individual has covered a host tree with bare vines holding numerous ripening figs. This individual plant was found on a river bank in the upper reaches of the Kapuas river.
This growth habit is unusual for F. heterophylla in Borneo, but has been recorded elsewhere in the large native range of this species.
