Ficus heteropleura, Gunung Silam, East Sabah.  The single plant described in this article was collected from 500 m on Gunung Silam an ultramafic mountain in East Sabah with an unusual flora. All photos by Linus Gokusing.
Ficus heteropleura . The photo above shows a small auricle (ear) at the base of the  both from above and below. The leaf is slightly involute at the base  i.e. turned upwards  a characteristic feature of F. heteropleura according to Berg (2011)
