Ficus eumorpha growing on the summit of Gunung Alab  (1964 m asl ) the highest accessible point on the Crocker Range in Sabah. In the photo above, Ficus eumorpha is the tree on the left next to Ficus endospermifolia (with larger leaves) on the right.  Ficus eumorpha is endemic to the highest mountains in northern Borneo. In Sarawak and Kalimantan it is replaced by Ficus subglabripetala in the same high mountain habitat.
