Ficus pisocarpa is a medium sized strangler with distinctive corrugated leaves resulting from the sunken leaf veins on the upper surface. The figs are small with a raised rim around the often open ostiole.Ficus pisocarpa growing on an old Raintree Samea saman next to the Penampang River, at Kg Tomposik, near Kota Kinabalu in Sabah.We do not know why the figs are looking shriveled. This does not appear to be normal for Ficus pisocarpa. Possibly they were never pollinated and started shriveling on the tree
