An early morning view from the Belalong Canopy Walkway in the Ulu Temburong National Park, Brunei. At least 10 different species of figs can be seen from the walkway and normally at least one of them is fruiting when you visit.

Ficus BCW 02 - Copy

Ficus paracamptophylla photographed from the Belalong Canopy Walkway. This rare fig was not fruiting when we visited the walkway in December 2016 but the leaves of this climbing fig and the distinctive “persistent stipules” make the identification easy.
