The ripe figs of Ficus pellucidopunctata and very distinctive and cannot be mistaken for any other fig found in Borneo. The figs ripen from pale green to pale yellow to orange with a scarlet patch around the ostiole. The ostiole is  clearly open. Each of the three bracts forms an extended pointed hairy triangle at the base of the fig.
