Ficus natalensis subsp. leprieueii growing in a plant nursery at Pontianak, West Kalimantan.

This fig originated in West Africa and a variety of cultivars are grown as ornamentals worldwide. These varieties are also known as Ficus triangularis.

Distinguished from Ficus deltoidea  which is native to Borneo  (but is also grown as an ornamental) by the lack of black glands on the underside of the leaf.
