A giant fallen fig fruit of Ficus cucurbitina which is currently fruiting at Tawau Hills Park in Sabah on 21 March 2021.

The same  strangling fig  fruited previously in late February and early March 2020.

Despite the nasty spines covering the fruits  they  were eaten by 3 species of hornbills  Helmeted, Rhino and Bushy-crested as well as Gibbons and Long-tailed Macaques.

Fallen fruits were eaten by mousedeer.
