This fig with willow like leaves was originally collected as a cutting by Jelend who works for the Malesiana Tropicals plant nursery at Bau near Kuching.
The source plant was a Ficus rubrocuspidata fig growing on sandstone boulders in forest near Kuching as shown in the photos below.
The source plant has both normal and willow type leaves.
