ABOVE: This is the view from Long Pasia village looking south across the Sungai Matang River valley towards the  hill opposite.

This view shows 3 very large strangling figs growing as standalone trees. The fig on the RHS labelled Ficus kerkhovenii which looks like one tree is actually twins growing close together.

The third fig on the LHS is as yet an unknown species (red arrow) but is almost certainly also Ficus kerkhovenii. The twins can be accessed via Lyang Anang trail once you have crossed the river Matang.

A fourth fig tree also Ficus kerkhovenii is directly behind the twins and so cannot be seen from the village.
