Ficus annulata can grow as a liana or as a strangler.
This magnificent fruiting Ficus annulata growing as a strangler was found by a team from the Sabah Forest Department in the forest reserve at Kg Tikolod on the eastern slopes of the Crocker Range in Sabah near the town of Tambunan.
