Ficus androchaete is a rare  Borneo endemic fig confined to hill forest on the West coast of Borneo.

The distribution is limited to the Northern end of the Crocker Range south to NW Kalimantan.

The photo shows  Silver Peter the Manager of the Ulu Membakut sub-station of the Crocker Range Park  pointing to a small F. androchaete  tree growing next to the Membakut river.
