Ficus globosa on coastal rocks, Pulau Kabung, West Kalimantan

The figs of Ficus globosa have distinct stalks (peduncles)  and ripen green  indicating dispersal by fruit bats.

Ficus globosa is a common liana in lowland forests.

There is a previous report of  Ficus globosa growing on a small rocky islet  off the coast of Brunei, Pulau Punyit.

Thanks to Ripin for information and photographs.
