Ficus bracteata is an unusual  very rare fig in Section Conosycea (Stranglers) .

The historical distribution includes Southern Thailand south to the Malay Peninsula, Singapore, Sumatra and Borneo.

and a collection made by Burkill  in 1962 ( L.1595771 ) collected from a fallen tree at the MacRitchie Reservoir in Singapore.

Chong et al (2009) Lists Ficus bracteata as Critically Endangered in Singapore  however I could not find any recent records.
