Ficus macrostyla collected by Linus Gokusing on 6 June 2016 from a rocky river, the Sungai Imbok in the Kuamut District, Tawau. The small fig plants are rheophytes that grow on and around the large boulders that lie in the river bed. This is the first record for Sabah. Previous records were for interior Sarawak and Bukit Raya in Kalimantan.
