In late December 2016 a very large Ficus crassiramea was fruiting on the north bank of the Kinabatangan opposite the entrance (kuala) to the Sungai Koyah about 5 km downstream from the Danau Girang Field Centre. Black, Pied and Wrinkled Hornbills visited. The most common visitors were Long-tailed Macaques, Green Imperial Pigeons and Hill Mynas.
