ABOVE: Ficus megaleia photographed at Sg. Liam  near Lambir  Hills in N. Sarawak. This very large leaf  with a large lobe at the base is typical of four species of geocarpic earth figs found in Borneo, F. ucinata, F. megaleia, F. malayana  and F. bukitrayaensis. The large leaf with 10 pairs of side veins  and a lobe that covers the petiole clearly indicates that it can only be Ficus  megaleia.
