ABOVE:  An epiphytic F. rubrocuspidata growing on a Belian tree Potoxylon melangangai amongst the  buildings at the Belalong Field Centre in Temburong Brunei. According  to the resident researchers, when the tiny fig fruit are ripe a nocturnal Black Flying Squirrel Aeromys tephromelas  glides in to feed on the figs at night.  Unfortunately when we visited in April 2017, the figs were not yet ripe !
