Ficus natalensis subsp. leprieurii growing at the BORA rhino orchard at Tabin in Sabah. This fig is an ornamental which grows in the wild in West Africa. Note the absence of black marks (glands) on the underside of the leaf which would be characteristic of Ficus deltoidea.
Said to have been collected from kerangas forest at Telupid. Possibly an abandoned house plant from the old Australian road engineers housing site in the area.
