This small fruit bat feeding on Ficus rosulata at Kawang Recreation Forest about 40 minutes drive south of Kota Kinabalu in Sabah is almost certainly Cynopterus brachyotis. Both the fig and the bat are common along the forest edge throughout Borneo.
