Ficus limosa recently discovered  by Ripin growing on a river bank in the foothills of Gung Niut  in West Kalimantan.

The river is close to Kampung Kendai, in the Bengkayang Regency, West Kalimantan.

This is the first record from Kalimantan.

Previously this fig which is a Borneo endemic  had only be recorded along rivers in SW Sarawak.
